Paisley Shawl
I paid a visit to the National Museum of Scotland yesterday to be treated to a special tour about the Scottish textiles in their collection. Some of these were Paisley shawls and this inspired me this morning to get out the embroidered shawl I inherited from my mother-in-law and take some detailed pictures of that. Sadly it isn't in good condition having suffered damage from both folding and moths but the quality of the stitching is amazing. More pictures of my museum visit can be found on my blog post here.
Thanks so much for putting the spotlight on the cotoneaster. I really appreciate it specially as I was out most of the day and thus unable to leave many comments myself.
