I wanted to sit outside and eat somewhere because it was beautiful and we do not have a patio or porch or anything. Only problem is that a lot is closed here on Sunday nights, which is both extremely frustrating and ridiculous. We headed over to Magnolia to walk about, to see what was open. Popped into this burger joint Shaw's which neither of us had actually never been to in our three years here. The food was average, but that didn't matter. It wasn't about the food, it was about the company and the outside time. We had the entire porch to ourselves--we could have been eating dog food at that point because the meal was irrelevant next to everything else. Did get a nice text from a friend when I was asking her about restaurant suggestions, inviting us over for something low-key, but we'd already established ourselves here. Thanks for the warm offer J, we'll take you up on it next time!

When Leah and I got back home, we walked downstairs to the gelatto place--they know us there, apparently, because the girl at the register gave us the 20% friends and family discount. It was a fine end to the weekend.
