Purple on Plate

This weird dyed feather arrangement came in the middle of some beautiful flowers, which to me seemed to detract from them, not add anything. Isn't a gerbera outstanding enough on its own? I pulled it out, and it landed here in the late sunlight. I thought it might be an interesting picture, Ancient Rome pottery meets purple dyed feather! Nice shapes light and colours.
