Bathing Beauty

Mum went home today and instead of her getting the train I said I'd drive her and then spend a couple of days with Rachel, Scott and Scarlett. There'd been an accident on the M25 so we were in crawling traffic for some time, and then hit a lot of roadworks on the M6, but we made it to Mum's in about 4 and a half hours, so it wasn't too bad. Once I'd dropped her at home I got back on the motorway and headed over to Rachel's - Scarlett was awake when I arrived and I got a lovely smile :-)

We went to see Alan's mum and dad for an hour and came back in time for Scarlett to have her bath. It's a shame as she's not very well at the moment but still she doesn't stop smiling, and I captured her in the bath laughing at her Daddy. It's amazing how much she's grown, she almost fills her bath now - you can see the difference from my blip in May.

Anyway, she's in bed and fast asleep now, so we're going leave daddy in charge while we go and get an Indian takeaway. Apologies if I don't comment over the next couple of days, I might be a little occupied with my gorgeous granddaughter :-)
