DDW's October Challenge Day 7 : "black and white"

Thought I'd definitely be blipping a monochrome today but it looks a bit more alive in colour :) This is one of my new hens that was born here this summer. I have no idea how she got her nice black and white pattern as I have no hens or cocks looking like this, but then I haven't studied chicken genetics properly yet ;) She's pretty anyway and I hope she'll be laying a lot of nice eggs as soon as January starts!
