'Shadows at Southbank'

A really lovely Spring day today, went down to Southbank for lunch and a stroll along the promenade. The shadows of the iron balustrade caught my eyes here in the midday sun.

Last day of school holidays today for the kidlets and Nana Di looked after them today. They have been spoilt as usual with a trip to the movies to see The Smurfs and sushi for lunch, but boy are they ready to go back to school. It's been a particularly tough night with constant hounding and badgering of us mere mortal parents. I'm lying in bed writing this up and it won't be long before I'm in the land of nod.
