Decay

This mushroom fungus thing sprouted up in what passes for a lawn in our back garden. It's pretty horrible looking and a good indicator that we are well into the season of decay and rot. Keats, with his 'Season of mist and mellow fruitfulness' clearly didn't have Scotland in mind.......
