Size Matters

The dominant feature of this week has been car related issues and this blighter was the cause of much swearing, gnashing of teeth and bashed knuckles. This is a drive belt (it would have been a fan belt in the days before electric fans) which I tried to fit earlier in the week. The 875 means that it's 875mm in circumference. My car actually needs an 880 belt. That's 5mm difference which is less than the length of most of the swear words I uttered trying (and failing) to fit it.
