Sunny days and rain...

We didn't actually see any sun today but we didn't see any rain either. Well until tonight that is and still we care not. We've had a lovely day pottering round the campsite. We went into Kendal to pick up some supplies, have afternoon tea and go for a pampering massage. Lovely it was too!

There's been a lot of chat about what our teenage selves would think of our 40 something selves this weekend. The general opinion is that we'd scrape through as being a bit cool. The blankets round our legs may seem like a bit of a pensioner thing to do but we justify it completely by the fact that we're sitting outside, in the rain in the wee small hours each night a bit mashed.

We were hoping for some clear skies and stars tonight but I fear that is likely to be a bit of a lost dream now.

Like many lost dreams.

This time last year there were very different dreams.
