Children's activities.

The 900 year old, St Mary's Church, above the River Tyne, and close to the Sage, Gateshead, has been restored to its former state and is now a Heritage Centre open to the public with a programme of exhibitions and activities.Today was for children ,who could recreate wartime Tyneside, using light, colour and shadow puppetry. We took two of our grandchildren along, Sophie and Nicole and they had a great time making planes on sticks and gasmasks out of paper and plastic cups. Here they are with their planes, flying over Tyneside.
