Apple day

Such a treat to have an extra car at the moment, and it meant we could go out today, so we went to apple day at Harestanes..... Toffee apples, shooting the apple on the head of William Tell, live folk music, local honey stall with lots of information and badges to be made, freshly pressed apple juice, bags of 15 organic apples for £1, and lots of other things going on. We did all that, then went over to the park, and then into the woods for a walk.
Rohan gave Luka a piggy back for a bit; I popped him onto my shoulders, just as she realised he had stood in dog poo, and it was all over her jeans, and by now all over my (cream, naturally) dress, and my jeans and it was all very very disgusting. Many many wipes later, we continued on our walk, which was very lovely and autumny.
