Three of a Kind

The advantage of seeking out toadstools yesterday in the local park, was that I knew exactly where to go for a quick (but unadventurous) blip today when I had less free time.

I went straight to an area where the were hundreds (yes really) of fruiting bodies and managed to isolate a small group.

I am poor at IDing fungi but I am fairly sure these are the Honey Fungus, Armillaria mellea (or a closely related species).
