Headed off down south to stay with No1 sons' girlfriend for a couple of days.

Left the house ---- local road shut
Took diversion
Main route ----- shut
No marked diversion or indication of length of closure.

Plan B ...........A68
Edinburgh at a crawl -- even the outskirts
Entire world on the move (just not quickly)

3 hours to Newcastle................not a good day (a still a ways to go)
