Sunshine!

Lovely sunshine! Hoorah!

I headed over the bridge and went to Far Ings - the first time for ages.

I had a very distant view of a bittern .. - too distant to blip!

Then I saw this gorgeous chiffchaff .. which I really thought would be today's blip ..

But - I popped back to the bittern hide before returning to the car park .. and took this photo of a heron ..

The chance photos often turn out better than the planned ones :)
