The Badger Field

Ridiculous I know but I name fields I walk through from encounters I have had with various wildlife, in this field, probably some 15 years ago now, I was walking home at dusk on a summer evening (no dogs or camera!) when I came across a badger! He obviously didn't smell or hear me so I stopped and watched him (or her) for about 15 minutes and at one point it was so close I could not quite believe it and I will certainly never forget it!
