Elephant Hawkmoth Larva

I am looking after my neighbours Cat whilst she is stopping with her sister and this evening I found this on her patio........I hardly ever see the Cat as he is not a people loving Cat so if I go into the house and he's there he dashes out!

I have seen the Larvae around here quite a bit but never seen the moth!
