Hot Fan

This fan should not be here. It was designed to go on the top if a wood burning stove, to blow the hot air out across the room, instead of it rising up behind the huge beam. I have not had a chance to light the stove yet, but was longing to try it out. The idea suddenly occurred to me to try it out on the Aga. The top is not blistering lay hot like the stove, but it drives the blades, and seems to have made the kitchen feel much cosier. Even the sitting room next door feels more inviting. I am still looking forward to seeing it whir away on the true heat. And shift that heat away from the spiders and towards me.
