Go-Go

Yeah, look, I'm not exactly sure what's going on here. Suffice to say I did not suggest that Julia pretend to swim on the kitchen stools...

I skipped the gym this morning and managed to get some work done instead. After lunch I headed into the city to meet Phoebe so we could go shopping for MUGS ball, which is next Wednesday. The theme is retrograde so we went vintage shopping and I managed to get a really nice 60s style dress - it was a bit more expensive than I'd planned, but oh well! I think I could get some wear out of it over summer.

Julia and I went go-go dancing again this evening and had so much fun. We did Backstreet's Back again, and then learnt a bit of Thriller as well as doing actual go-go. Julia stayed for dinner after and when I asked if I could take a photo of her she got pretty excited. I still can't look at this one without laughing...

So technically, this isn't the best photo - it's blurry partly because I was laughing so hard when I took it. It captures the mood, though, we were super giggly and energetic after the class.
