Convention Blipmeet
I have backblipped two of the three previous days -
I really love this one, it is just so typical of the area, take a look if you like BIG landscapes, the golden tussock, horses and nor west sky and the view we enjoyed.
We had a mini blipmeet at morning tea break and made time for a quick picture.
Back Row L - R; Kiwilizzie, Mrs Puff, Gref, chrissybelle, amblingcamera, rainie, gingernan. Standing behind - timguru
Front Row L - R; Sieze the day, Katey, AnotherDay, Jamazine, daring2go, cycling granny. It was really great to get to know these blippers.
Unfortunately, dups wasn't well which was such a shame. Also absent from photo is travellingkiwi.
Another good speaker this morning - Simon Woolf speaking on Fusion (stills and videoing), then some quite outstanding night sky time lapse photography from Fraser Gunn who lives in Tekapo - I was spellbound.
Lunch served out on the terraces, people left then we had the huge job of cleaning up. I finally got home at 6.15, unpacked the car which took an age, then sat and watched a replay of the All Blacks v South Africa. What an awesome game, NZ coming out the winners.
Doug is already in Wellington, flew up this afternoon and I do likewise tomorrow.
Thank God this convention is over - I hope to get my life back once we have done the accounts and reports.
Rainie (who really has to go to bed, knackered would be a mild description)
