Another beautiful .....

.......... blue sky day in South Lincolnshire.

An early jaunt along the river turned up these two shiny guys surveying their domain(s).
I guess them looking opposite ways maximises their chances of seeing something edible.

My 70-300 lens at full stretch and a pretty hard crop but on large you can just see that their eyes are green (or maybe not - but I can on my computer - lol - please take my word for it - they are)!

I love these birds ......
