THEY STOLE MY LAND!

Khalil is one of our collegues in Palestine. He waited paitently for us while we were held 3,5 hours at Ben Gurion Airport.

Back in East-Jerusalem we shared dinner. Khalil was very happ. He had visited his hometown for the first time in his life.
Asheqlon was deprived the palestinians and made as military zone by Israel.
Khalil's grandfatherwas forced to leave this city in 1950, and became a refugee in Gaza. 2/3 of all refugees in Gaza come from Asheqlon. Khalil's father and Khalil himself are born in Gaza.

But now he has seen his hometown. Just the beach is unchanged, the Family house and street are destroyed.

Khalil sings the Egyptian song: My country, my country, I love you! Happy to be there, sad that they stole his land.
