end of the summer bloomers

I so look forward to the blooming of the butterfly bush each summer...and when they go to seed it marks the end of summer for me. Things were certainly dry this year and the bush suffered but bloomed anyway, greeting our visiting family. Now the family has gone home & the bush will go to seed until next year.
