Killer Whale

Killer Whale by the Nisga'a artist and carver Merlin Robinson was given to me as a gift by my students at the end of the 1992-93 school year. At the time, Merlin was the partner of one of the students.
It hangs in our living room and is another of my treasures. A mask carved by Merlin hangs beside it - a future blip, no doubt.
A bit of an emergency blip. I spent most of the day cleaning up the garden and planting garlic and winter veggies. It was nicer than forecast, and I enjoyed being outside for hours.
