A touch of glamour

This glamorous poser is a grey wagtail. Trim and beautiful, a bit of a loner, it is a charming bird wagging its long tail as it goes about its business.

Having vowed not to have fish in the pond and having only recently removed the giant carp Simon and I today put in 30 small goldfish in the hope of attracting the kingfisher I saw flying past yesterday !! We'll see...
