Still to open...

A few week ago I blipped a photo of this flower spike expecting the buds to burst into flower at any time. Well, I'm still waiting but if it stays dry and the sun shows its face this weekend then maybe I shall get to see it in its full glory before I fly back to Malta, fingers crossed!
