Frustration..

..with computers..

Have spent a lot of the day trying to solve this problem. Uninstalled all the virus checkers I installed yesterday, just to get the computer back to it's original state. Then got on to the microsoft website and downloaded office, it didn't take too long. Started at 1:30 pm and finished at 7:00 pm. That's what I call "superfast broadband" !! (Sorry to the Scourie web users if I slowed down the web too much).

When it finally installed, and I got to testing it, Word, Excel and Outlook crashed just like before when I open a file. Word did allow me to make a test file and save it, before it started crashing. Opening that file was too much..

I'm now going to get in touch with Ac*r (not letting you see the whole name!!) and see what they suggest..
