Luton Hoo

Escaped from London today to meet my friend Issi for afternoon tea at Luton Hoo. We were born within a few weeks of each other and this visit was to celebrate our last birthdays ... in Dec 2012!

It was great to catch up. The tea was scrumptious. But the place itself is blipping marvellous. The main house is largely 18th century neoclassical exterior with a remodelled lavish belle epoque-style interior. It was such a gorgeous afternoon we were able to walk off some of the cake in the sublime gardens designed by Capability Brown. Spendid :)
