Central Scotland's Newest Photographic Cliche

Up early-ish with a few tasks to get carried out. Got Alex from football, headed to the butchers for slice sausage and came out with several kilos of Stornaway black and a rabbit (£3:50… bargain).

Got some veggie type food sorted for Dawn's mate Jen who was flying in from Brum and made a chocolate tart, All done in time for Douglas arriving at 12. Rolls and lorne and Stornaway black were scoffed and then him and the weans were packed into the motor to show him The Helix.

Continuing building works meant a bit of detour to get ourselves down to the Kelpies but it was worth the walk. Shots were taken of weans, swans, Dad's and wean's, Yank and weans and of course the Kelpies. Callum also got to play with a Nikon D4, no nerves on my part, it's only worth more than my car……

Headed back to the house for more coffee, gibber about photography before sending Douglas off with some of the tart for his Auntie.

Now all have been fed, the weans are being bathed and I'll soon leg it to see Rush (the film not the Canadian rockers , though I've seen them already this year….) with my Dad, will need a lie down after all this.

As a wee aside the Kevin Bacon game was played and it appears through Douglas I'm three links away from Emilio Izaguirre … so is Campbell…..

I'll leave that story for Douglas to post after he visits paradise.
