Runaround Pond, Durham

On our journey through Maine we drove to Durham, where Stephen King grew up. As a big fan of Stephen King I really wanted to glimpse this place. It was a lovely town and we found this pond - Runaround Pond - where he supposedly hung out as a youngster. It was incredibly pretty here and I could completely visualise so many of his child characters here - playing in the woods near by!
