Season's end

Crane-out day for the boat today. Earlier in the week the forecast looked awful but thankfully they had got it all wrong - we had a lovely calm morning plus as a bonus it was balmy and warm too. Bit of a shame taking the boat out if these conditions last! We managed to get Tiare's mast down without any assistance from the crane and without any mishaps, and she was then quickly lifted onto her trailer. She had the cleanest bottom of the day! Some of the sailors with taller masts were required to climb them to attach the crane strop above the first set of spreaders. I was too busy during Tiare's lift to take photos so here is a mast climbing shot - looks quite exciting!
