Old Oak

That famous symbol, the oak leaf, adorns a sign welcoming walkers to Hanbury Hall,in the shadow of an old twisted yet flourishing oak. Had a lovely warm two-mile walk round the deer park with a much rejuvenated Jess who seems to have regained her confidence. For the record, 19C on October 5th, as a goodly lump of high pressure settles over most of the British Isles and keeps more traditional wet and windy weather at bay out into the Atlantic. Now for a traditional Saturday evening curry.
