Today was a great day to be outdoors. The sun shone, the birds tweeted, the clouds were few and far between. So I did a little run then spent the afternoon pottering round the garden, tidying up for the winter. Dug up all the remaining spuds, pruned the raspberries, composted the feral tomato plants, harvested yet another mahoosive marrow and a courgette, chased the hens around the lawn (they need their exercise!), etc etc Now a bath and a beer and a Hugh F-W recipe for tea, then falling asleep before MOTD.
