living in a glass house

Express yourself

It seems my goofy girl is this tall.

She started asking questions about death at the dinner table today. I don't even know how it started and she wasn't particularly distressed but she did say things like, "when we die we won't have any arms or bones and we won't be able to eat, right?" I have to say I was unprepared for having to answer these questions this early. I was very "matter of fact" but it started making me wonder if I should have a comforting response ready for when it gets more serious? Or is it better to be completely honest? This parenting lark is hard.
