Reflections

A cloudy warm autumn day. We went for a walk in the woods over to the beaver dam, they have put in a new viewing platform so that you can see the open water around the beaver dam and lodge. I have not seen the beavers yet but could do if I made more of an effort. They have made a good job of the viewing platform.

Before the beavers were here this was a forest road which the beavers successfully flooded making a huge new wetland. My farming friends are a bit wary of the beavers so it is good this is forestry land.

This shot was taken from the platform, I liked the reflections and the light catching the bright green of the emergent sedge.
