Crafty Curlew!

As soon as you get near they are off! At least this time I managed to keep it in focus as it flew away.

Watched it for some time enjoying the sunshine and finding lots of crabs to eat. Couldn't get near enough to get the light right to capture that, all my shots are silhouettes which are quite nice but not what I was aiming for.

Lovely and warm here this afternoon.
