Who are you calling 'Big Ears'?

“There is beauty, heartbreaking beauty, everywhere.”
― Edward Abbey
Lots of furniture moving in preparation for bedroom being wallpapered.
Short trip to butcher in Strichen and spotted this baby on the way.
"When the sunlight hit his back I could see,
The beautiful way he was looking at me,
Then when he noticed that I was a person,
He made a run for the forest,
He looked back as if to say goodbye,
I felt a connection when he looked into my eye,
I felt as if I've known him before, ". Shandra Verge - Reincarnation
(Its ears make it look both very loveable yet heartbreakingly vulnerable. Deer have a great sense of hearing and can hear higher frequencies of sound than humans. 'The large external ears (or pinnae) of the deer work somewhat like a satellite dish. They help to amplify the sound (just like cupping your hands behind your ears), but because they can move independently of each other they also help the deer evaluate what is happening in all directions. We’ve all noticed how deer continually shift the direction of the ears, and simply by watching the ears a hunter can get a good idea of what the deer is thinking. When travelling together, deer often keep track of each other by listening.')
