Kangaroo Paw

It is World Wide Photo Walk day today and I did my walk here in Perth up at Kings Park (our natural bushland park in the heart of the city). It is also wildflower season and the wildflowers are in full bloom. My favourite of all is the Kangaroo Paw, they come in a number of different colours but the most common is the red and green. The kangaroo paw is also the floral emblem for the State of Western Australia.
