Castlerigg

After arriving late in Keswick last night we made it out to Castlerigg this morning. The original plan was to get there for sunset however the Friday afternoon traffic was working against us. We didn't quite make it for sunrise after a late-ish session in The George yesterday, but we got there for 8:30 whilst it was still relatively deserted. We timed our departure well as a coach load of Japanese tourists arrived just as we were leaving. I was also amazed to see a mobile catering van parked up - sadly we couldn't have any tea as their urn hadn't boiled yet!
