New specs ( RIP )

Been a really busy few weeks and not much chance for blips or commenting on blips.
A couple of months ago I decided to replace my varifocals and reading specs. After a couple of visits to the optician these new frames and lenses were purchased at considerable cost. Unfortunately modern technology being what it is the frame is kaput already and I'm now waiting for a replacement.
Perhaps next time I should choose something more sturdy and less fashionable .
