Monarch Butterfly

Landed on one of my Cosmos today. It was quite a trick to catch an image of this beautiful endemic. This is usually the first sign of Autumn in our part of the world. Around December and January is when they all collect in the Eucalyptus trees near the coast. I've posted one image a long time ago with the pre-migratory gathering. I'll be searching them out again this season for a nice image to share.
