Kissed by a Mule

Kathy and I joined up with another couple for a bike ride on the Row River Trail.

Part of the “Rails to Trails” effort, the Row River Trail paved bike path winds for 15 miles in very scenic countryside.

We enjoyed ourselves immensely.

We stopped to photograph a mule, a horse and a foal (that also appeared to be a mule and so it seemed they are a family group).

These animals were so friendly and well groomed; obviously much loved critters.

My very first (and quite probably my last) kiss by a mule was soft and sweet and quite an unexpected treat!
