Supai

Hiked down into this canyon for two nights. An 8.5 mile hike in.Very hot but right next to the Colorado River. Everyone at the camp ground was amazed by the night sky but we had them in tears by saying we have starlit skies every night in the Orcades. When we hiked out (at 5.30am to avoid afternoon sun) we were totally covered in stour. Back onto the road and the dream continues on Route 66. As it often does on the road to Stromness.
