Unusually for us we parked today in the car park in the centre of Helmsley, right next to this splendid statue. Which seemed like enough of a reason for blipping it.

(Usually we drive around until we find free parking but today we didn't have the time. And to be fair, the cark park charges in Ryedale are some of the most reasonable around.)
