The Circus

I usually avoid Piccadilly Circus/Regent Street/ Oxford Street at all costs. But, thanks to SuperD for the info, I went to watch a screening of Everybody Street at the Piccadilly Apollo. I recommend this for all that love NY street photography, or of anyone interested in photography full stop. Cheryl Dunn, the director, was there so at the end of the film there was a great Q&A with her.

Whilst in London, I managed to see "Only in England" at the Science Museum. It's an exhibition of Tony Ray-Jones and Martin Parr's work. A must must see if you find yourself in London. Ray-Jones is one of my all time favorite photographers so to see his work again (It's been about ten years since) was such a pleasure. Martin Parr had a lot of his B&W early work there too, which was great to see lesser known images. (I particularly liked his photograph of the Pigeon Competition - but then again that is not a surprise!)
