Going Gnome

I am staying with my father this week. He came out of hospital on Monday following a second knee replacement (right knee. left was done ten years ago)

His recovery is inevitably slower this time around, not just because he is older, but also because he had a stroke five years ago that left him with right sided weakness and loss of movement.

I am reasonably comfortabble that he can look after himself now so I might be headed back home (and to the land of internet access) tomorrow. I have made sure there are others going to be checking in on him for the next few days, so with a bit of luck his recovery will continue in the right direction.

I got a shot of the wound/stiches when I was changing his dressings earlier, but I don't think that it's something i should inflict on you lovely people, so here instead is a random gnome I spotted whilst out and about.
