Tom Savini is on campus today.
i saw him talk for a while in one of the classroom buildings
to a bunch of students and faculty.
i got to talk with him for a while before it started.
he's a really really really nice, down to earth guy.

known mainly for special effects and gore makeup work,
he got started as a vietnam photographer, and
drew from what he saw there for realism in his work.
he now focuses on directing and acting
(and doing his own stunts).

i took some pictures, but the classroom has crap lighting
so they were all either really dark or blurry
(i didnt want to bother with the flash).

you may recognize these props from the movie
From Dusk Til Dawn.

i've gotten a grand total of 13.5 hours of sleep since i woke up sunday morning.
about 6 sunday night,
about 3 monday night,
about 2 tuesday night,
and a 2.5 hours of random napping.
now i have to work on a group project,
and start another (likely) all nighter.
if i dont sleep at night, i wont be able to til 5pm tomorrow.

sidenote- this is the first time i've posted on the actual day
that the picture was taken in.. i dont even know how long.
