Fantabulous Friday!

You would never have thought that today could turn out so well after the heavy downpour on the school run this morning.

This afternoon turned out glorious. One Day like this a year will see me right! had to put the link to my favourite Elbow tune on tonights blip as I managed to get tickets for their concert next year! So happy! Treated myself to an early birthday present, as the concerts a week before my birthday next year. I've always wanted to go to see them live.

So today turned out really well, very productive day at work. Had a nasty job to get out the way this morning but decided I had to get it over and done with. Felt much better for facing it. Then a spot of Christmas shopping at lunch with a lovely friend. Bought a gorgeous nativity which the boys will love. I'm sure it will feature in a future blip :0)

Finally we had a party here by the marina, which gave me an opportunity to get a few photos. All in all today has been a good day. Hope you've had a good Friday too.
