Ceremony

Today I was at an OU degree ceremony at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester. Despite being a proud Mancunian I've never actually been inside that building before - it was built long after I moved away.

The reason I'm this far out of my normal area of work is that the honorary graduate was someone who previously headed up the Prisoners' Education Trust (PET). They are a charity who provide funding for prisoners to pursue education in prison and that includes Open University modules. Smashing event - as always.

Early night tonight and heading home tomorrow - rock and roll!
