Getting ready for Hallowe'en

Today when I did my mum's shopping the supermarket was stuffed with giant pumpkins. It also, less seasonally, had displays of iced mince pies in Xmas boxes. If ever we get hazy about which festivity comes next, the shops are sure to give us a selection to choose from!

And then on my way home, with the sun going down (when it was out at all) I stopped at Crab Wood to blip this dead tree. A bit witchy, I thought, so perhaps I'm following the supermarket lead with an early taste of Hallowe'en.
