Pineapple experiment - a year and a day later

It has been 366 days since I planted a pineapple top in a small pot at the office. It has done well and had to be transplanted ages ago. I reused the original pot for the African violet and included it for scale when comparing the huge pineapple plant behind to the blip of it in the smaller pot this time last year. Wow! Maybe next year we'll see the bud of a new fruit!
